I have the stock tape deck and the stock 4 disc in dash cd changer in my car. I want to remove the tape deck only and keep the changer. I will replace the tape deck with a Pioneer DEH-P8650MP head unit. Will I still be able to use the CD changer and control it?

aren't they a double DIN unit? If so, then you'll have to lose the lot. If they're separate units (and I can't really think why they would be) then sure... take one out and leave the other intact.

Dad's verada is a double DIN unit.... don't have any more experience with magnas with double head units.

Stacker is cool but the better headunit will be a much better investment. You can always get a pioneer stacker or an Ipod or Iriver or something...
