Hi All..
i am about to purchase a pair Jaycar CS2329 Kevlar splits, but i am undecided where to place the Tweeters... i'm thinking of drilling a hole in the door trim in location A and putting it in there, there a slight angle in the trim to slightly face the tweeter to ear level.
or do what most other people do, put it on the dash so the sound bounces of the windscreen..
what are your thoughts, or where else would you place them...

also, has anyone got these splits, do the woofer fit straight into the stock location or do i need to get spacers etc?

yoour help would be great.
cheers

how about buying a set of tj tweeter covers that go on the
top of the doors .just hot glue the tweeter in
that work well and only about 20 bucks each.
you don't have to drill in to the door trim :D

The woofers fit straight in but the tweeters won't. They are too big for the sail area. You'll either need to put them in your door trim or kickpanel.

Put them in the kicks, easy way is to blu tac them under there in the kicks and then stick them on the dash to see how the sound before you fix them, the kicks will sound heaps better from staging but it is up to you as to how you like it. Then either use a metal bracket to mount them in the kicks or cut your hole.
