G'day all, i have been really busy lately and therefore havent had the time to get on the internet much, and now that i have time i thought that i'd post a thread. This one has really stumped me, i want to make a custom box that will go on the inside part of the roof so i can put my UHF Radio in it, as it is on the passenger side floor at the moment and looks messy, i was wondering that if i made this box how could i stick it on the roof as the headlining in my TR is made of some sort of foam and cardboard or something, keep in mind that the radio is approx the same weight of a DIN cd player so it has to be put up properly so it doesnt fall down, and also any suggestions as to what i should make it out of, i want it to turn out shiny and smooth looking like fiberglass would be but i dont have the money to get it made i want to make it by myself, all help will be greatly appreciated.

a bracket behind the board in the roofliner and to make it looks shiny and cool get perspex (bend it into shape) and spray the inside with black spraypaint (glossiest u can possably get withough chromeing it)

You can actually buy these pre-made, from 4WD suppliers and the like. They usually bolt onto the metal in the roof (they bolt to the reinforcing sections, not the flat metal)
