I got my new trans fitted under warranty. now i find it's holding gears longer, shifts are smooth, but it just holds gears longer and when going up a hill to my place it wouldnt drop below 2000rpm. It used to go up that hill at like 1500rpm in 5th.

How long does this usually take to adjust it self and is it normal?

went for another drive, but it wouldnt change gears untill i backed off the accelerator abit? is this still normal. I've only done 12 k's since getting new trans. Am i freaking out for nothing

It doesn't downshift when you press the accelerator more? How about when you floor it?

well i was waiting for it to upshift but it wouldnt till i slightly backed off. i'll see how it goes, i'll do more driving, should hopefully come good tho
