Jus finished getting the Right bracket and fixing the CAI directly to the Pod.Looks a million times better now,also sounds more beefier too ehhehe

Youre still gonna get alot of heat coming into that from the engine bay.

Which null/voids your CAI setup. Also with that many twists and turns in your piping im not sure how effective that really is..

It's effective man,I made sure it was,or there would'nt be any point in having the CAI.Prolly gonna make a Heatshield up next week while on holidays anyway.

nah,the only trouble i had was getting the right bracket for it,which i finally got,so it's all good,but basically not many problems thankfully 8)

pardon me but the only thing you gonna get through that piping is turbulent air + hot air going in from the sides of the pod. saying that, any kind of similar piping would be inferior to the stock air intake.

A few posts up i said i'm gonna be makin a heatshield box,to stop the heat gettin in man 8)

is there enough flow throu the top part of the pod??
slap some glad rap round it till u get the heat sheild done???

Not sure man,i'll prolly try gettin sum sheet metal,easy to cut and shape and also drill,then shape it around the pod and try to enclose it.Should be all good,keep me busy for a bit hehe 8)

dude, hwo much did the adaptor palte cost and where did u get it from, gimme ur old one that u had on there before.........

Hey buddy the adaptor i had b4 on the MAS was a plain round 1 which did'nt sit properly on the Honeycomb intake bit.
I got all my stuff from 1 Stop Auto man,dunno if there's any up ur way,gonna have to check it out and i had to order my adaptor in(the right 1,that is),which took a couple a days.I'll post sum pics soon orf it so u have an idea of what it looks like and if it'll fit on urs 8)

Metal while sounding ok, will produce a nice little oven to sit your pod in..

Try something like a dence Heatproof Plastic.. Or carbon...
