Use a Real Store

Avoid E-bay for Car audio worth anymore then $200 or you will end up majorly Burned

He registered in Indonesia and most likely the unit will come from Hong Kong or Singapore, even Indonesia where they are selling so much cheaper than Australia.....

al, of you have no idea what you are on about. i have bought multpile things off ebay for my sound system and have not had a bad experience yet. this item would be fine in my opinion. i say go for it, or you could go and spend rediculously stupid prices at autobarn or somewhere for the exact same product, sometimes the stock in autobarn is actually models behind what is available on ebay. sure you have to wait a week or so for it but it beats paying through the you know what for it.

The simple fact is mate that these people DO know what they're talking about a lot of people have been burned on ebay what with fake speakers(a lot of focals) and refurbished products. So watch who you are accussing of having no idea. Having said that there are some great deals on ebay its upto you if you want to risk it thats all just warning you.

I trust and support eBay, and I don't see why you shouldn't snap this up.

But yes, do inquire about warranty..

well, as someone who 'doesn't knwo what he's on about' i have bought and sold over 100 items on ebay, and it is a case of buyer beware sometimes.

I bought an MP3 player recently, that was a 'genuine SONY' product, and when it arrived it was a bootleg useless copy, made cheaply, and barely worked.

Though, if you ay using paypal, at least you have some recourse, as if your purchase is not genuine, you can get your money back upon proof of such a fact.

At the end of the day its up to u. I have had mostly good experiences on ebay, but am very wary of overseas items that seem too good to be true.

good luck :D

yeah i've had good and bad, personaly i'd stick 2 buying car audio in person tho, better for warranty etc. also who knows how many of these r knock-offs, stolen, wateva else. go to claim ur warranty and pioneer has the serial written down as stolen property...bye bye HU!

if its 2 good 2 b true, then think long and hard about it
