Gday got afew questions regarding a TS.

How much time should it take to kick down the gears when you plant?

Also when breaking hard theres a really bad creaking noise coming from the front, i know its a vauge description but im curious tonight so i thought i may aswell ask?

Well.... mine went to about 5500rpm then changed gears pretty well.....

as for the brakes... well its a 10+ yr old car... something is guna creak sooner or later...

i know im not that helpful.. lol

the creaking is your springs..happens to mine too

ive noticed my gear chages are really, really notchy. In fact its starting to worry me about how much life the gear box has..anyone know what this could mean or how to fix it?

Check your ATF levels, give it a flush (I think you can do that with Autos? I dont know too much about them) and then fill her up and see how it is.

mine can take for ages to kick down, sometimes doesnt happen at all, not to worry, leave it in power mode and it kicks down well enough. If it bothers you to much pull the gear selector down.
