have u thought about saving ur self the labour costs and do it urself??
as long as i have basic tools eg. axle stands or ramps, socket set, jack, hammer etc etc.
ud just buy them as complete shafts both sides and pull one whole side at 1 time and swap with new ones. a manual comes in handy . oh yea forgot to say in my tp auto one side is shorter than the other. and if u really rather let someone else do it , id at least buy the cv's and get someone to fit them other wise u might get over charged and they seem to only tell u the price once there fitted and all u can do then is pay em. well i figure if u buy em ur self and get a mech to do it ur only paying for labour and a bit. ebay has them most of the time or id try repco good luck :D

I am having the same problem, CV's clicking on the corners.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to find out if it is the left or right side that is clicking, as I was quoted $175 per side, I would rather do one side, and if I have to do the other side, so be it.
I presume that the left CV's would go first as they are driven on the rougher side of the road, and this means that the left bearing usually goes first and I imagine this would also affect CV's.
Any ideas?

you were right MB
Ignoring the looks from startled shoppers, a mate sitting on my bonnet said it was my right wheel clicking, while going in circles both directions. I will get it done on Friday.
