On TV tonight there was a AD, Saying that all Aussie V6 are the same. But a brand new Aussie V6 will be web casted from the Melbourne Motor Show this Thursday.

Did not say the Company - Could it be the VE Commodore or the V6 replacement for the Camry or hopefully the Ralliart 380?

Yep, its the new Avalon. I just hope the 380 can keep its chin up. It will start to sell, as the Avalon won't be any different from the US version, right down to the Left Hand Orientation of the Gearstick.

Hi guys/bain - new Camry is 2.4 4 cyl only, this probably refers to Toyota's new Avalon replacement, which will be the only toyota V6 sedan going forward.

New camry looks rather good from front. Back looks exactly like a Mazda Millenia (2001 model). The car will sell unfourtunately, even though it is junk. They should scrap the camry and stick with da new Avalon... man it is the first Toyota i've liked in ages.

But hey I don't think it will kill the 380 as it seems as though it is gonna be Toyota's luxury car and probably fetch $50k+ more in the league to compete with the Hyundai Grandeur.... which is also launched on Thursday. Wow.. yeah the 'Aurion' is nice and all but who relates luxury to Toyota? (they made Lexus for that!) It will probably sell in the luxury markets but I got a feeling it might not.... all depends on price.

It reminds me of a story that i once heard that the Mitsubishi Starion was actually meant to be called the Stallion! To get an idea on how this came about think how some asians pronounce the letter "L"!

The Avalon looks like a combo of the Maxima, 380, Lexus...the front grill looks especially like the maxima's.
