I've been looking at these:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/17-Inch-Mag-wheels-Ford-or-Magna-5X114-3_W0QQitemZ8035552203QQcategoryZ6782QQrdZ1QQcmdZVi ewItem

They're a 17x7, with a 5x114.3 PCD, and an ET of 42. I'm assuming this is offset?

The TR/TS service manual lists the offset of the standard rims as 46mm, so will these be suitable for my KR?

Sorry if this is another annoying rim post, but maths makes my brain hurt.

Our offset is 40 I thought...I'm not sure 100% but I dont think you'll have a problem with them though.

Someone said in a recent post that the offset was 46 from the factory manual. http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showpost.php?p=450294&postcount=22.
Your rims will stick out further than stock, whether it's too far i dunno, whats the offset for 7" rims suppose to be? i think its around 30ish

Thanks for the input guys.

All I want I guess is something to replace my mega scuffed stock rims.. I'd be happy with a set of KE Verada mags or TJ VRX mags...

offset is the distance from the mounting plate to the centre of the wheel. So a 6" factory
wheel with +46mm offset means the mounting plate is 46mm outside of the centre. That is
roughly 1.8 inches. For a 7" wheel with offset of +42mm, the mounting plate is 1.65" outside
the centre.

1.8 - 1.65 = 0.15"
This means the mounting plate only comes in 3.8mm but the wheel is 0.5" wider each side of
centre which means the wheels will stick out 0.35" or 8.9mm further.
I hope the above is correct. Its too late and I need to sleep.
