hey dudes, got a TJII....... was just wondering what your thoughts are on air filters and which one benefits most. POD or Panel filter for the 3.5.......
it would be easiest just to get the panel K&N filter cos it fits right in, no mods needed... but is the pod a better option?

I cant really tell you to do a forum search because you cant right now lol as there are a few bugs at the moment... there might be some of this covered in the 3rd gen FAQ in my signature.

I have used both Pod and panel now and I think the pod is great if you like the noise it makes and I think it has some gains on WOT but in the heat and from launch it doesn't help... might be better if you get the whole CAI kit to go with it to make it worth while.

I had a K&N Panel in the standard air box and snorkel, now I have a K&N POD filter in an "Ez Boy POD Box" (do a search to find Ez Boy's thread about the box) with a CAI setup.

Filter is good if your more budget concious but the POD definatly has a bit mor eover the panel.
