hi,

just got a new K&N pannel filter for my TR and i was wondering on the best way to a cai into the car. Which way should i run it with the least amount of fuss. is there any companies that make cai kits or am i going to have to make my own kit. if i have to make it what do i use for it??

thanks all

you'll be making your own!! personally i dont know a lot about the TR/TS so some one else will be able to let know.... i'd check out the AM website and also www.fastmagna.com and www.madmagna.com for tech articles... there are some more sites as well that i can't think of that may have some more tech articles...

good luck

if your only adding a replacement panel filter then the original air box already has sealed cai. thats why its there. also it would depend on what other mods/engine you have regarding the need to increase the size of your intake. if they are mild/non-existant then the standard will be fine. you would only need to change this if you have alot of mods which are going to result in your engine wanting to suck more air through than the standard box/cai can supply, because remember the new panel is already going to allow more air flow through.

Poke a hole in your front bumper and stick your airfilter out there... best airflow :D

I agree with the rest.. the stocko CAI is good for a panel.... :D
