Hi guys! I tried to get Bob Jane T-Marts to install my BBS wheels but apparently they need these special nuts called "12x 1.5 shank and washer nuts" which cost $5 each ($5 EACH! So thats around $100 all together not including lock nuts if i decide to put them on)
Gosh so i'm not too sure if i'm being rorted here so i'm just wondering if anyone could help.
The bloke at Bob Jane's gave me one as a sample incase i go on an adventure looking for a whole set of 20 of them (or make that 19)
Was wondering if anyone knows the pricing for these things or anything about them... :doubt:

I've found that wheels typically come with their own set of nuts???

Yeh that's what i was thinking, he should've got the nuts with the wheels.
Brand new nuts are about $5 each unfortunately, but you should be able to go to somewhere like the tyre factory and pick up some 2nd hand ones cheap.

If he's buying BBS wheels, why skimp on wheel nuts? I personally wouldn't skimp on fasteners that hold on a vital part of the car. You never know if the threads have been stretched, or the body has cracked due to someone hammering them loose etc etc. It's like people who buy really expensive wheels, then fit cheapass tyres. Why bother!

Re-read my post (and quote), I wasn't referring to you as skimping, so keep your  to yourself.

Thats fantastic. All I was asking for was some help on wheel nuts and it seemed as if you where directing your $2.50 comments to me
