OK im so sorry this is another freaking centre console question.. I ve got my sub all ready to be hooked up but im at the stage where i have to connect it to the back of my head unit. Do i really have to take all the centre console out and all that or is thier some way i can pull me head unit out by playing through the side panels or something.. as in can i unscrew anything on the side so i dont have to take out the whole centre console.. it just seems like heaps of effort? or should i just bite the bullet.

Looks like a sony HU?
They should have the amp remote cable hanging down off the HU, so you might be able to access it by just pulling out the ashtray and the plastic bit around it. If not, then you're just going to have to pull the HU out, which I've found isn't that hard.

just pull it out, takes 5 minutes, from memory you have to undo 5 maybe 6 screws, dont be lazy, cos i think you'll find the lazy option will probably take longer thus turning the proper non-lazy option into the lazy option, if ya get what i mean.
