Hey Guys,

I am trying improve the performance of my TJ Magna. I have changed the filter to a K&N, changed the rear Exhaust and installed a Unichip.

The idea is to have performance on petrol and use the high octane of gas.

However my current gas mixer and converter are restricting me. It is way too lean and bottlenecks the air-intake. I need to get a larger mixer and converter.

Anyone know of any performance LPG places. Those who have a dyno and are interested in performance. Not just conversions??

I am located in Victoria - the South Eastern area or Western Side area would be easy places for me to go.

Try this link. http://www.parnell.com.au/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=3&Itemid=26

Hopefully it will remove the restriction you currently have in your intake.
Good luck and keep everyone posted.

:stoopid: LPG has a research octane rating of 110, for half the price of 96RON unleaded

I want to use both.

But LPG is way to lean.

With the right gas setup you should be able to match the petrol side of things in regards to performance if not gain a little more. That system on the link should pretty much remove the restriction so in theory you should gain a little on both fuels.

With that system you could almost run two fual maps (if you had an ecu that could) and swap the map with the fuel

try get your hands on a b2 convertor and a 225 mixer

less restrictive

Thats old school stuff. If we are talking about the 225 impco converter forget it. The diaphram inside it expands and contracts from the engine heat so your mixtures go all over the place. Plus it still sits between your airbox and throttle body so you still have a nice restriction in place either way.

better than a round chunk of alloy thats smaller than the intake pipe

Talk to Parnell, they looked at the car and told me "nothing we can do - not our system"
