umm...pines...i dont member ever racing you...
*thinks to him self that hes never even trashed a car*
If i did...the reason i would just pulled away is that each cruise ive had 2-3 other passengers in my car...and how many did u have? maybe 1....giving the extra weight...and mines an altera (power windows, cruise etc) a few extra kgs....
Now...is this so called 'modification' worth it?
pines u can laugh at what my mate (hermit) said all u want, the fact is he owned a 4g54 probably before u were even born, and has been a mechanic for a friggin long time. Like he said what he doesnt know about Astrons, aint worth knowing. The only problem astrons had with the chains is that they stretched, mate EVERY chain stretches, be it your pushbike, motorbike or an astron.
Why dont u go take one of your pistons out, im sure it will make the engine lighter and make the car go faster........
You sound like a big friggin hero who thinks their top shit "ask some peoplpe who have gon up agains me!!" get over yourself.

Removing your balance shafts should not damage your engine (except maybe put extra strain on your engine/gearbox mounts). Their sole purpose is to reduce NVH levels in in-line engines (although V engines also use them).
Removing them should give you a litte extra power :)

I like blueberry ice cream, or even honey comb YUM YUM :)
i think that the english problem isnt with my typing i think its with your reading ;)
I think the problem is that we learnt to read properly and have trouble adjusting to large quantites of SMS/l337speak.
I can read a well written post much faster because it's the standard that I've been taught and am familiar with.

And people are asking why the threads get locked?
>>>>Personal attacks!<<<<
Please don't start this topic again.
I'd also like to point out that you're all talking about the Astron when Pine's car is the 2.4 NOT the 2.6, I wont forward my opinion on this matter. Just make sure you're all talking about the same motor before you say anything.
