Hey
Just wondering at what idle should i be doing at 60kph atm its close to 2000rpm and at 100 its 2500rpm. And at park atm bout 1000rpm
Also do u adjust the cars idle screw whilst the car is runnning or not??

Adjusting the idle adjustment screw will not change the rpm of the engine under load (eg: at 60km/h and 100km/h), as this is dictated by the gear ratios (manuals have very different gear and final drive ratios then autos). Also - adjusting the screw will only effect the idle speed for a short period of time.
Why?
Because the idle speed is controlled by the ECU. Even after you have adjusted the screw, the ecu will eventually adjust the idle back to a speed it thinks is ideal, which is about 700-750rpm when car is idling under load (in D or R with foot on brake in an auto, also idle will be higher temporarily when engine is first started, and will then drop once operating temp is reached)
