Hi, would anyone know where the resistors (if any) are located for the Thermo Fans on the
3rd Gen Magnas/Veradas? It might explain why my low speed thermo fan is out.
Thanks

going by the workshop manual, I believe there are 3 fuses (a high, med, low speed) and these connnect to different windings on the Cooling fan motor which gives the 3 speeds (3.5 litre only) 3.0 litre has only low and High.
So if one speed isnt working it could be the fuse in the engine bay fuse box, or possibly a burnt out winding on the Cooling fan motor.
Hope that may help, personally I would look at the fuse in the engine bay first.

Thanks for that. The fan does not kick in when A/C is on, only the smaller condenser fan works.
Just as I thought, low speed is has burnt out.
After the engine gets past half, the main fan kicks in which I guess is high speed.
Would you know if the thermo fan on 3.OL Magnas and 3.5 veradas are the same (mine has two wires running to it).
Thanks

Hi, check service manual as attached, there is a difference between 3.5 litre and 3.0 litre engines.
The manual shows ya how to test them.
