well, as im going to be off the roads for 6 months, ive decided with all the money ill be saving and spare time ill have im going to to some work on the car. as of now im over going fast and all that jazz, now i just want a nice car, thats a pleasure to cruise in, with all the luxury refinments, so as of mid march, when i start to build up some finances work will begin.

INTERIOR: starting with the trim, im going to get my hands on some verada woodgrain items, centre consol, power window trims etc.... failing that ill have the existing ones proffesionally painted when i decide on a colour. seating, if possible, will also be provided from a verada, i want tan leather, but ive got buckleys of getting it, so i might go with some a/m bucket seats, already in tan, and have the back seat and door trims done to match, i will also replace the carpet as its showing a bit of wear.

AUDIO/VISUAL: staying inside the car, next on the agenda will be the entertainment aspect, the 6's upfront, 6x9's out back and the head unit are all fine and dandy as is, new subs and amps will be brought in, most likley from the pioneer range, possibly kicker, and the in-dash tv i have atm will make make way for a new motorised unit with built in dvd etc... once again, pioneer. the 6x9's will be chucked in favour of another pair of splits. a roof mounted 10"+ monitor will also be incorporated into the system for passenger entertainment. gaming wont be forgotten either with a ps2 slimline neatly hiddem in the glove box.

EXTERIOR: moving to the outside of the car the th boot will be replaced with a tj item and rear lights will be replaced with the ever so sexy verada items. up front stock light will be replaced with parabolics and will be wearing eyelids courtesy of [WTCHME], if time and money allows a jvm design front bar will be fitted too. side skirts and door strips will be colour coded and splashings of chrome will be well....splashed about, doorhandles etc... darker tint will be applied, some where around %15. and last but not least, some AUSSIE MAGNA CLUB stickers to reprazent!!!1 hehe

WHEELS AND SUSPENSION: the rear of the car is being lowered another 1.5-2 inches and the gaurds are also being rolled due to this, as for wheels, the bigger the better, 20's would be ideal, but 18-19's are looking more likely, i have my eye on dolce dc12's but i also wouldnt mind the wheels [GenoCide] is selling, but either way theyre gonna be big and chrome :D

ENGINE AND EXHAUST: the engine for now will be remaining largley as is, the exhaust is going to have a bit more attention, in that the front bank extractor are going to be fixed/replaced, ill have the resenator thats in there taken out, and the lukey replaced with a red-back or something else as i want a deeper note, as mine is quite raspy and absolutly screams under load, so yeh something more refined but still hase some meat to it.

so yeh, thats a rough outline of whats gonna happen, im sure ive missed some stuff out, but ill keep updating as i go along and think of more stuff, i will also be starting a for sale thread soon with all the gear that is going to be replaced in it, tail lights, 6x9's, tv etc.. so stay tuned.

what the point of looking nice if it doesnt sound and go nice? definatly do sterio and engine before the exterior, that way if you can get em to the car it has modesty while having the goods. just my thoughts

well since i started my new job, ive been busy gettin the show on the road, so as of saturday, im getting the gaurds rolled at c-red tuning and then straight to wa springworks to bring the back down some more, about 1.5-2 inches, my 2 brand spankin new solobaric L7's should be in the boot in 2 weeks time and im finally getting the damage my sister did to the front patched up, and then ill start shopping for an amp to get the kickers moving and causing seriouse annoyance through out my neighbourhood :badgrin: :badgrin:

hey guys, i know you've all been eagerly watchin this thread for updates :bowrofl: but 2 months later, progress has been made, a nice new pioneer avh-p5750dvd now sits proudly up front, ddc-6.5 splits are upfront and the previous pioneer splits are now in the back, all the plastic trims have been properly painted silver once again. the rears been lowered another 1.5 inches and i also got my hands on a set of kj tail lights :D so sexy...
im searching for a kj bootlid to match, failing that, ill just get a plain tj boot and mod the tail lights. ROUND is the name of the game now with attention turning to wheels and subs, i ditched the idea of solo barics when i discovered W.A actually does have a dd retailer (thank christ) now its just a matter of deciding between two 3512's or the all mighty 9512 to get those panels flexing hehe, as for an amp, digital designs will be called upon to provide 5000wrms of their finest in the form of a dd-Z1, then i just gotta find a 20 inch rim thats to my liking and the exterior will be put on hold for more interior creature compforts,

well i been sorta busy on my car, i opted for kicker solobarics instead of the dd's theyre being run off a kicker kx122.1, theyre good for 143.2db, interiors been almost sorted, leather seats should be coming in the followming weeks, courtesy of wtchme :) :) :) and the interior trim pieces will be painted once again to match the seats... ive also found the wheels i want so i should have them in the next 3-4 weeks cant wait, leather and 20 inches of chrome goodness.... gotta get some custom plates soon, something along the lines of
[P05ER] or [P053R] would be pretty funny failing that ive still got [B0GL4P5] on hold wich i absloutly love haha

well, its slowly slowly moving along, dd splits and that have been removed same as the back speakers, i now have a set of focal 165v1's in some custom pods on the rear parcel shelf waiting to be trimmed in black and up front now is a set of focal 165k2p's, for those in the know this is about $1100 worth of speaker haha, and i FINALLY found the name of the wheels i wanted, they called ferretti palermo's, got these on layby at tech9tyres, $3000 for 20's with tyres, fitted and balanced, the ding up front is gettin fixed this week or next week hopefully if the smash repairers can fit me in, gonna get my grille colour coded and the interior trims painted at the same time...

so much to do, so little money, but god she's gonna be sittin pretty when she's done :D :D

well, my car is now sporting a very nice leather interior thx to [wtchme], its looking great, should have the custom parcel shelf back by friday, and the ding up front is booked in for next week, i went and picked up my rims last friday, upon taking them home and trying to fit them, i was reduced to having a tantrum when i realised they got the wrong stud pattern!!! i took them back and not wanting to wait 2-3 weeks (which is what they said it would take to sort out) ive opted for a set of 20' vault savannahs, which will only take 5-6 days to arrive, once theyre here and fitted tech9 will lower the back a bit more for me, after thats done all i need to do is get the center consol colours sorted and possibly some new tint and then im off to bali for a holiday with the girlfriend!!!!

so yeh, to all the people that thought this was just another talk the talk thread.... eat your ummm thoughts haha,
and yeh, just wanna say thx to john, aka wtchme, seats arrived in perfect condition, more than adiquitly packed, so if you ever buy anything off him expect top notch service,

yeh, the other side has a rather large dent in the quarter panel, when thats fixed ill take it back to tech9 where i got the wheels and the front will go down another inch and the rear about 2-2 and 1/2, should look sexy time!!

i think ill have to be the first to say that i really dont like the wheels..

just my own personal opinion, but to me they make it look over-done.. and ive never really liked chrome wheels, let alone on a white car..

ill also be the first to say, they look too big.. lol

oh, a suggestion for you interior panels.. you said you wanted woodgrain originally, now that obviously wont happen with your blue and black (or grey) interior.. so why not go ultra-high gloss piano black.. i always thought that would look pretty good, and it would of looked topps if you went with a beige interior..

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with RINGA... the chrome is a bit much & doesn't really fit with the white. It seems way too high from those pics, the massive wheels kind of accentuate that... It could look better if it were lower I think.

Still, each to his own, if you like them that's all that matters really :)

chrome is really not my kinda thing especially in a white car but once you drop her a lil bit more and kit it out it will look awsome. post up some pics during the day maybe use a tripod.

thanks for the comments guys, i knew some people wouldnt like em but thats a given, its not that high, but yes it could do with some more lowering, oh and the cars coccoon, that beige, metallic pearl colour, as for the interior, i have repainted some of the bits a high gloss black but it doesnt look right, so im just gonna get some stock black placko trims, but yeh, lowering on the agenda, gonna wash her tomorrow, and the guy at tech9 said i should take off the mud flaps aswell so i think ill do that tomorrow aswell, as for day time pics i gotta go back to tech9 tomorrow cos he wants to take photos for his website and put a big sticker on the car haha
