Hey, I was trying to get out my amplifier today and all of a sudden I dropped my screwdriver and it landed into a terminal hole type thing on the amp, sparks flew...have i blown my amp?

First thing would be to check the fuses on the amp?

If they're blown you may be in luck as this would open circuit the amp...

I can't really check ****, cuz the front passenger ****in seat is in the way. Ahh well, if its blown its blown. **** it, only $700. There was no power going to it though, so i dont understand why sparks flew.

The front seats only take 2 mins to rip out... 17mm socket ;)

Sif I can be ****ed reinstalling the speakers, headunit.

Doesn't matter, ill just spend $700 on performance mods. Couldn't care about stereos anymore.

Actually, it's a ****load of work. Because all the rest of the cabling is out. So don't make assumptions. And secondly, $700 is a lot to me, but I'd rather spend it on performance now. And lastly, I'd rather die of aids then give you my amplifier.

Probably blew a fuse on the positive lead to the amp. If wired correctly you should have a fuse holder under the bonnett near the battery on your 8G/4G/2G/0G cable.

Even if the amp is sitting under the seat, how hard is it to access the fuses?

ICUH8N, I am not sure why you would try to be banned... it's easier just not to log in surely and save yourself the effort, and us the displeasure of reading this... as practice (and for your behaviour) you are banned for 4 weeks... see how you feel about it all after that...
