Got a bottle of chemi weld for the radiator, not exactly sure how to use it.
Says something about restrictor in radiator or something?

It is just saying that some cars have filters in their cooling system and if you put this in a car with a water filter that will get clogged up with the metal crap in the chemi weld, not only does that not fix your prob, but it will then stop your cooling system from working.
but as far as a i know, no magnas have water filters

Might be a better idea to fix the problem rather than stick that stuff in. :doubt:

Hi Ascension
To put your mind at ease I have used this product a couple of times over my vast driving career ! lol
The product is not a mechanic in a can but is a good product none the less.
It is temperery although I sold a car a couple of years later after using this product and it never failed !
When used as directed my experience is it will seal cylinder heads and cracked cylinder bores...
It sets like "CEMENT" though so if you are going to use it think what and why...
The product is good but you must stick to the directions so when it says run the car for XYZ minutes then do it !
Hope this has cleared up your dilemer !

Chemiweld of nowdays is a great temp repair, especially if you find yourself stranded.
The formula these days will only set when it is exposed to air.
I have used it in my Verada, I am building a new motor soon, my front head was cracked between the water jacket and the exhaust port, was using about 2 litres of coolant a week. Put some in about 12 months ago and still does not use a drop.
Important thing though, if you have to use it, make sure you flush the system soon after and add new coolant.
