I brought like, 4 ccfl tubes from flexiglow like, 2 years ago or something. Sadly, 3 of them have been stepped on, snapped, shoved up god knows where etc etc, and I'm down to one now.

I was looking around at the jaycar 100mm ccfl tubes, and wondering if they would be compatible with the existing inverters I have for mine. The inverters I have can accomidate two tubes, using them little white connectors.

The 100mm length of the jaycar ones are more suitable than the 300mm giants i have atm. any ideas? :D

i dont see there being any problems apart from seeing if the connections are the same. i know the 12" ones i have use the same invertors as the 8" models. maybe take the invertor in to the jaycar store and ask the guys or see if they'll test it. (Don't know if they will, but the jaycar guys up here are pretty cool about that sort of thing.)

The other option is to take the plunge with 1 and see how u go, there is only 4 possible outcomes: 1. it works 2. it doesn't do anything 3. it blows the tube or 4. it blows the invertor so i figure 3 of those mean new tube and/or invertor anyway, who knows u might get lucky :P
