hey just wondering if anyone has their first gen magna's with leds installed and if so can you give me any ideas ?
im planning on adding 2 blue neons ( or black lights) in my boot .. and just make it so when the boot is opened they light up ( lol a ten minute job basically) aswell as the wrap around blue neons that u can get on your sub and connect it via my amp so it turns on and off with the music
also i was thinking of installing smalller blue neons in my vents so when turned on u see a nice blue glow from em
anyways what ya think ?

I think they are great ideas. I always wanted to put Neons behind Vents and let them shin through , and when it's humid, you may see a beam coming out from them! It'll look mad! what about some behind your Grille?

nah. i put an 8" blue neon in each front foot well for $40 all up.
$20 for the neons and $20 for a missile switch. TIP: if u have a Solly's warehouse they sell aeropro neons for $10 each w00t w00
easy as to wire up. take the power from ur cig lighter socket. if u want i'll post some pics of mine so u got an idea of what i did.

here we are.
cuz there was no where to screw it to i found some scrap metal around the place and made some brackets, they just screw into the screw holes that are there to hold the bottom part of the dash up

the wires just run in behind the HU, where i have modified the cig lighter plugs that were on there (soldered wire onto the end and pulled one of the springy side bits out and put a spade terminal on it), that way they're still fused individually.

Just screwed into the bottom of the dash.

nice and hidden from any snooping officers. the wiring just runs to the back of the cig lighter. (dash is messy to get out with all the wire and HU in so i'll get pics of that next time i have to take it out)

Hope thats helpful.

i guess if u could find the ducting under the dash u could drill a small hole and mount the led in that then run ur wires back to a central location.
