gave a mate a rebuilt engine, he took the head off it and gave it back, i now need to use the engine, the engine is not at tdc, so how do i know were to put the cam and dissy in when im putting it back together, short of taking the engine to tdc then taking off the timing chain cover to re aline everything

make sure the number 1 piston is right up

make sure the number 4 rockers are rocking or the pin in the front of the cam shaft is facing up

dissy needs to point to number 1 lead

cant rember how many links in the chain some one else would know
