Hey guys, can any body post pics of their later model magnas cabin lights because my TR's light SUCKS ASS, its the same as the one that was in my TP so yeah, I want to see what newer cabin lights are like and maybe buy one and put it in so it looks better.

Your talking about the light that comes on when you open the door right? I replaced that recently as the old bulb blew, seemed a bit brighter with a new bulb. How long since you replaced yours? Maybe you might be able to buy a brighter buld for it, they are like 20c each.

I mean the actual light assembly, the whole thing, not the bulb.. i have a white 3LED bulb in there and its great but the actual housing looks like total poopy and i want to see what newer magnas lights look like to see if its worth changing too and the possiblity of map-lights. :nuts:

The entire cover is the switch. It slides from side to side. Took me a day to figure that out when the blasted thing wasn't working after taking delivery of the car.:redface:

I had two rear passenger map lights. they sit in the bif of car between the door window and rear window.

How hard was the install? just piggyback off the power for the normal center cabin light?

Those came from the 2nd gen veradas. The top one sits at the front and the bottom one
sits in the middle. The buttons for the bottom one is self explanatory. The two outer ones
control the two outer reading lights. The centre one puts the centre light in auto mode and
the two buttons either side of the centre one is on/off for the center light.

3rd gen veradas have the 2nd gen middle ones at the front and reading lights on the c
pilars.

Oh and also, the integrated map lights with the cabin light is exactly the same as in the TM~TP Elite models, although mounted in the middle.

The standalone duel map lights with no cabin light used in the 2nd gen is also exactly the same as the 1st gen mounted near the rear view mirror.

also, the 89onwards Galants have map lights up front as well as with the interior light assembly, so could check with the wreckers for those as well (sorry have my 93 galant now so dont have pics of the 89's map lights)...but yeah being an older car u could find one at a wreckers pretty easily at a guess :)

i got mine for $8 at the wreckers.

yeh basically just piggyback em off the dome light wires.
