Hey guys, ever heard of this before?..

My battery light came on the other day so im 'wtf is that doing on?'. I check under the car and a bloody belt is hanging half off. I think thats not to bad, i can put that back on but when I try to I realise that the guide pulley is bloody missing! (on the alternator/aircon belt). Parts are falling off my car!

A month after i bought my car this thing happened
costs 250 to replace plus 40 odd for the new belt....

You need i think a Number 10 bolt Cause it aint included with the guide...

This is for a 98 tf...

DO it yourself! just make sure its tight and udjusted...

Oh i got the prices wrong

for genuine the Belt tensioner is 198 and the belt was 35 bucks from a generic motor place!

Got it fixed today. It was still under the stat. warranty so i got it done for free. I forgot to ask how much tho. :(

The guy told me the pulley looked more like it had just fallen off rather than broken and that the bolt holding it on was tricky to get to.. most likely cause: last time the belt was changed the person didnt tighten it properly.

Man U: Thanks man, im glad I didnt have to pay the 200 bucks to get it replaced.

This happened about a month after I brought my Verada, The pulley was located luckily however I got a price from reptiles (repco) and they quoted 75 bucks for the tensioner pulley.

! Friggen mitsu ripped me off!
