Would it be wise if i removed the cold air intake and replaced it with a pod? ( stock cold air intake). Whats your opinion on this?

Thanks all

Welcome to the AMC... seriously, this topic has been debated on more times then KB has dreamed about having dinner with Shannon Noll. Try using the search feature to search for related threads and even check out the 3rd gen link in my sig... i think there is some info in there too.

I have a pod in mine but my advice would be if you are going to do it go the whole hog and do the CAI approach, otherwise if you are like me with the POD short kit, you get some gains on WOT and going up hills hills, it sounds great but once that baby heats up things start to get sluggish... people will argue on the plus's versus minuses on doing this until the cows come home.

W3rd.

However, dyno graphs speak volumes when comparing stock setup to Pod or CAI as the only mods.

(read: there is bugger all difference).

You just couldnt resist could you. Anyways im not going to start another argument about this topic, as Hyper said, its been down to death (dunno about more times than KB has dreamt about having dinner with Shannon Noll though, thats a big call).

Anyways, Pazza check this recent thread out and make your own mind up.
