Hi all
I am a very big admirer of the 380, as the rest of us all are. I was wondering does the 380 VRX have the same features and performance like the 380 GT?
Would you also be able to place 20" mags and still have exellent braking, or will the braking suffer?
How about looking up mitsubishi own web site mate?

It's the same performance across the whole 380 range engine wise, but as for suspension and rims the GT and VRX are identical.
The GT comes with leather, sunroof and more as std, but the VRX has all of then as options and apparently add up cheaper then buying a GT model.
Any of the car rentals hiring out the 380 at all?
Meph,can't find 380's on the europcar site.
well ive had a few drive past me, maybe its just locally the werribee/hoppers crossing one?

I worked 4 Europcar and you can rent a 380 VRX! Ive driven 6 of'em!:D (drool) Problem is there's no guarantee. You have to book in a "full-size car" and you could end up with either BA2 Falcon XT, TW Magna ES, base 380 or 380 VRX. Best you can do is call up and have a 'preference' for VRX (still no guarantee). We'll be getting some 380 LS' soon too.
If you want guarantee best go with Thrifty even tho they're all base...

yes, thrifty have them.. id say only because mitsu owns thrifty.. well, the major share of it!
as for performace, yep, pretty much same motors across the boards.. the only difference i know of, is that the VRX motor is not suitable for LPG, due to the valves being different.. (made up of different materials) why is that so??? beats me!
putting on bigger wheels than factory will give u clearance issues with snow chains, so will lowering it, hence the 2 different steering racks on the 16 and 17 inch wheel models!
