u see, its hard enough trying to make a 3.0cu ft box, plus if the sub was put the other way around the basket would be hitting the bottom. Stupid 15" is too big for the boot to fit vertically, or at a more vertical angle. Also, less risk of stuff puncturing the cone. Also keeps a low profile....nobody knows its a DD sub :P

I left the joints like that so if i needed to access the spare wheel, i can just lift up all the panels. They're all hinged :)

It just seems so plain and white...though, i'm still looking for extra ccfl tubes. flexiglow brand ones.

Either put the sticker back on the driver or do something custom. Either that or spray the basket of the driver another colour. Possibly reactive paint for your CCFL's.

lol, no eek, not fluff, you and your damn fluff haha, like that grey marine carpet, so it looks like the rest of the boot, and it would hide all them joins better

Haha, somehow I don't think the chrome spider would go with the DD sub:P
I rekon what would look cool, get a chrome DD logo made up, have it float infront of your sub with chrome piping that reach out from it to each point of the diamond around your sub (each point had 2 rods, to each side of the point) and then cut out a mitso logo in your bottom panels, leave a bit of space put in a red peice of mdf, then red neon, then perspex where the logo is cut out, and have it all sit flush. and that way, the light from your red neon will shine upto your chrome DD symbol, thus illuminating it red (which i believe is the colour of their logo?)

it sounds pretty hard to do, i wouldn't be able to do it, but i think it'll look cool and wont cost as much as a screen :P

i would try and cover up the middle crack as much as possible, 3-4 black light CCFL's will set that baby off hardcore....

also i think maybe a logo of some sort in the middle? embossed or something...

like i said, sub don't fit with the cone facing outwards, lol

yeah, i was thinking a perspex panel f some kind somewhere...and a disco ball.....maybe. The crack is hard to cover up though. I'll keep thinking

screens/tvs in a boot is friggen ridiculous IMO.

I reckon it just needs some shiny paint :D

I'm thinking of having LEDs or halogen spot light sorta things shine down from the boot lid as well.

The red and blue looks really awesome, i think you should paint the subs magnet and you know what you could put in the middle that would actually be cheap,usefull, handy, safe and look ok, A FIRE EXTUINGUISHER :D

uv lights will look the shiznit on the white of the floor then a mitsi logo in the center on the floor raised about an inch would look killa
