I have the money but I've driven manual and hated it, way more wear
and tear also so I got an auto box now upto you, its what u want after

Don't listen to MITZBOY, there's a reason why he's banned. I'm sure this topic has been covered before, try a search. It is possible (like anything) just takes $$$. I heard something about an EVO 6-speed box bolting in or something, but i'm not sure. Search would be your best bet.

Yeah I wont be listening to him...this was the first post of his I saw...then I read all the others. lol
I know Mitsiman was starting a manual conversion to an awd TJ and encountered a few problems, might want to have a chat to him.

Not even gonna comment on that.
Your best bet is looking at teh EVO gearbox.
This is not gonna be cheap - but it will be very cool if you pull it off ;)

yep, a an EVO 6 gearbox bolts straight up with the use of an adaptor plate.. the only problem i found with this was having to work your way around the yaw control system. an another problem unless you can get a second hand evo 6 box... your looking at about 5 grand from mistsi... of course theyd do a cheaper price though

Thanks guys, looks like i have a bit of research to do.
Its amazing how many people want to do a manual>awd or a fwd>rwd conversion.. I thinks its basically, If you could afford an evo, buy the AWD then spend your 40k change on doing the manual conversion and come out with a unique yet less powerful and car worth less in the end sadly :(

stock standard, way less powerful, you tune the nuts off your magna then give an evo the same treatment and the magna will always be behind, but then again you can't comfortably fit a 6foot guy in the back of an evo, you can't use it to move house (oh no, my recaro's!) and you can't use it to get kudos because your doing something different. plus i think magnas are under-rated and especially my model (2nd gen) look real nice.

yea thats true.... but you just wait till you see the build.... it'll easily be a stock evo killer :)

Doesn't have to be an evo killer. It can be a damned quick large sedan with monster torque:D

What if they dont want an Evo? It's their choice...
I'd personally prefer to turn my car into a TT AWD vehicle than buy an Evo, they don't do anything for me. And I couldn't care less if it performed better.
