I don't know if I just had a bad weekend, but last weekend I managed to scrape my the bottom of my exhaust 2.5" tip on 3 difference occasions.
All happened on on exiting kinda steap driveways. The best occasion I managed to slightly touch the bottom end of my lukey muffler as well
My car is lowered 40mm with Kings low springs. As seen here: http://members.iinet.net.au/~bdriver/magna/
I've got 21.5cm clearance from the bottom of my tip to the ground, however I've noticed that there is a ~1-1.5" gap above the muffler itself. Is is possble to get the muffler refitted so it actually sits higher? Of course then I'd have to get my back bumper cut, so the tip would be able to stick out.
Also has anyone got photos of their bummer exhuast tip cutouts?
What sort of clearance do you guys have?

I had a cannon on my TE (king superlow)...then a lueky muff like urs but with up-swept tips. hardly ever scraped...theats when my car was sittin 2 3/4" front n 3 1/4 rear end lower...more then the stock super lows.
member..slow...n sideways..
u can go bak 2 the exhaust shop n have it raised...looks ok with the bumper cut out abit...

Time I hit the worst is when I had 3 ppl total in the car. 2 front, 1 back. None of us were massive, or footballer size. :p Otherwise it's just been me driving.
Yeah I always go real slow. I'm paranoid about scraping the front or the tip now
Attached is a dodgy diagram of the driveway/road slope.
EDIT: driveway is the red side....it was probably steaper - but it gives the idea :)

BLKWGN got pictures of the lukey/tip on your car?
I think I'll get it lifted up when i get extractors fitted. And that I'll be soon I hope :D

maybe you could look for wreckers who have a vrx bumper and get it moved into the right position OR you could just cut the bumper. i think the vrx option is better because it looks stock

I had to remove the tow bar to get it up as high as possiable... thats not true.... it could have gone higher but I though it might look stupid coming out half way up the rearbar :D
Anyway I got them to hold the muffler in position and then I marked the extreameleft and right of the tip on the bar... then I marked the height I wanted it to go up to... then I joined the dots with an elipse...
Then I got there air hacksaw.... and cut it out.... Took 5 min... it was free..
cause they didnt want to do it... I said NP give it to me.. Ill give it a burl. :D
Alot quicker with the air hacksaw than by hand...
One note is dont get the blade toooo hot otherwise it will try and melt the plastic o fthe bar and it WONT cut... Slow and steady is the best way.

hey i've got that problem as well! the bigger problem is, it even happens when only 2 averaged size ppl is in the car! i tried going REAL slow, trying to angle the car sideways, but doesn't help much. it's always the edge of the exhaust tip that's being scrapped. and guess what, my car's not even lowered... :(
