here's one for the audiophile's out there...
most amps now a days have built in cross overs, and all splits i know also have their own cross over.
I should have my Jaycar Kevlar splits in about a week, this being the case, what's the best way to wire splits....?
leave the amp on full and let the cross over on the splits do their job???
or what other way is there?
your help will be appreciated

Does your midbass driver get wired off from the crossover as well?
I'd still put it on high-pass for the hell of it...If your mid-bass driver isn't wired off the x-over, then definately put your amp on hi-pass at like, 80hz or something.

I Second eek, high pass them and then you will not cause as much stress on the mid. anywhere between 60 and 80Hz will be fine.

I'm definately no expert but I've got mine on high pass and I let the 6 x 9 do the bass and the sound is heaps crisper, really distinct clear high freq stuff like drum symbols.
nway just what I've found :)
