I know it's not the answer to the question you're asking, but the best way is to buy a monoblock, or at minimum, another 2 channel and use that for the sub on LPF.
Another option would be to have only the front speakers amped and runt he other two channels for the sub....
Or if you really want all 4 speakers amped and a sub off a 4 channel, I guess you could have the front speakers connected in parallel to one channel, the rear speakers connected in parallel to one channel, then bridge two channels for the sub... But I'm not sure how well this would work, and it would only be mono sound, not stereo :(

what i was thinking was
run the front speakers off two channels and have the rear running off one channel (mono) because when your sitting in the front you cant really hear directional sound behind you (i tested it :D) and then one channel for the amp.
OR
Run the front speakers and the sub of the amp and the rear one sof the headunit are these ideas both possible>?

I say bridge the sub on 2 channels, run your fronts on the other two, run the rears off the HU.
the rears will barely be used (alot say they fade thiers to the back...but answer me this...would you still do it if you had good sounding amped fronts?) to they dont need to be amped.

:stoopid:
although if you can get your hands on a cheap 2 channel for the rears, do so....
i dont care what ANYONE says, having it faded slightly towards the rear gives me incredible sound, having it from just the fronts sucks ass.
btw, atm, i have my fronts running off the HU, and my rears off an amp.....and i tell ya it f**king sound sweet.
so trav, experiment a little? becuase you will never know what YOU like until you have tried it yourself, both will work (duh) but yeah, just giving my opinion.
btw, get some good rears noob:)

Here is How I would do it Trav
I would go for Two Subs and use this Amp to Power them Both then buy another Jaycar Amp to Amp your Fronts and Rears..
Your Deck has Sub out and the Cressida has a Big enough Boot to fit Two 10 inch Subs Easily..
This is the way I would go about it..
Before you even look at a Sub, Get your Front and Rear Speakers replaced as Stockies wont handle an Amp.. They will cook and Fry within a Week..

thanks for all your input but i dont want 2 subs nor do i want two amps i really need boot space because i really odnt have that bigger boot. I think that amping the fronts and leacing the rears of the HU might be the best way to go

You don't have to worry about boot space with 2 amps...
You can mount the amps one under each seat
