G'day, I've read a few threads where people have put a new engine in their TE's. I would like to know the cost to have an engine installation. I don't own a Magna but I am looking at buying one (the shape is eye catching :P ) Both the 4 and 6 cylinders would be great to know the cost. Thanks to all those who reply :D

Goddam.....Thats like.....stupidly cheap?
Your telling me when my engine finally packs it in, as long as the body and other components are still fine, for $3-$5k I can get a new (second hand) motor? ...sweet.

Possibly, im not up with prices, but it was Drive away. Hell id pay $3k for a motor drive away, especially if it was going to give me a few extra years on the car.

if you bought a brand new engine in the car, would u have to wind back the odom or what??

Recently sold one for $275.00.
Can't give away the 3.0 as they are a dime a dozen, I know where several more are just stitting around collecting dust.
Fititng, I would do for around $250.00 plus parts

You gotta be kidding me? $250 for a 3l? Crap, might just buy a few spares. Is it possible to strap a 3.5 straight into a 3L factory Magna? Obviously there would be tuning to the ECU.
