what do most of you guys have on your cars? i've got my eye on some nice mags, they only come in 17". can anyone who has 17" mags please show me some pics, i'm just wondering if they'd look a bit small. I'm yet to get my car lowered but I think i'll get the wheels first. Thanks :D

Well his profile says he has a 3rd gen. 18's will look better...but 17s will be more practical in terms of handling and price of tyres.

Choice is yours

lachlan, black and red look bloody hot together.

i would personally go 18-19", just due to the size of the magna.

lachlan, shadow chrome doesnt look anything like chrome. Its a dark silver that has a cameleon colour change in it towards black.

definately go 18". I used to have 17's on my magna and it looked like ****!

yeh iv got 18s on mine just means you have to been especialy careful around cutters or pretty much anything on the ground!!!17s give you a little bit of roll over things but 18s will scratch on anything...also youv gotta be aware that there is a fair jump in the price of tyres from 17"-18"

Thanks for that guys, 18's would be nice but yeah the price difference would probably kill me.

Also correct me if im wrong but 18's on a non lowered car look a bit :doubt: don't they?

Problem I have is that not only would i need a whole set of rims, i would need the tyres to go with them. Price = alot. So 17's is probably what ill go for.

Ive currently just got stock 16's

Yeah, you would definitely need to lower if you went for 18's, otherwise it looks a bit unbalanced.

As for tyres, a lot of places throw tyres on cheaper if you are buying the wheels from them, or in some cases the tyres work out almost free. Shop around for good package deals.
