Im after some peoples opinions about a Magna that im thinking of buying. When i purchased the Magna i currently have i worded up the bloke i brought it off to let me know when he was selling the car he replaced it with. It is a 2002 TJ Sports, manual, black, lowered, 17" ROH Adrenalin wheels. It will be up for sale @ August and will have approx 145000 km on the odo. He keeps his cars in excellent condition so this one should be the same. So peoples, what are your thoughts?:D

Its a 02 TJ Sports :dancin: , MANUAL :dancin:, Black :dancin:, Lowered :dancin: and has Rimz :dancin:. Sounds look a good peice of Magna to me. Even better if he keeps his cars in good shape. Sounds like a "GOTTA BUY" to me.

I just did a quick Used car sales search for that car minus the rims and lowering because they do nothing to value.

and the results

between 12k and 18k but all of those are substantially lower than 145kks were talking more 90k -60k

so ill adjust that pricing to around 12k max for the one u want.

12k? haha sif!
Realisticly you're looking at about $15-16k for one in top notch condition.

It really does depend on the condition, but i'd say anywhere between 12-16k

The average TJ 2 Sports has only done 80,000km. Considering his has done a whopping 145,000, about double the average, I would expect it to be worth around $12,000. The mods will barely effect its resale value. I reckon any car like that which is black, lowered, aftermarket alloys, with high kms has probably been flogged its entire life. I wouldn't pay anymore than $12,000.

I think you'd prob be better off with something like this modified 2002 manual sienna red TJ 2 VRX with 62,000kms for $16k. http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!cs_content.private_vehicle?vehicle_id=2831054&current_rec=2&used_rec=1&total_rec=7&sort_type=&total_rec=7&sort_type=&make_id=3&model_id=57&badge_id=26718&state_id=-1&search_distance=25

I think it belongs to one of the guys on this forum

Its a TJ 1.5, It has climate and dual bags but isnt badged series 2. Im interested it the car because i know how the owner would have looked after it, after all he did own the car i have now. He does a few kays 'cause its his work car. When i brought my TF it had 165000 km on it and it was only 4 years old.

to be fair, you know the guy and you know he looks after it. if you want it, your not going to be able to bargin him down too much as he knows you'll pay it as he knows you want it.

id go in around 14,500.... mainly because of the k's, but i wouldnt be going over 15,500.
