Hello i own a 98 magna sports and recently when installing an amp under the seat relised it was damp in the carpet. I dried the carpet out and went about installing the amp. Last night it rained heavy and when i got in the car thismorning the carpet in the front passenger side was really soaked and the rear passenger carpet has a 2 inch pool of water,
there is not a drop of water on any of the seats the roof is dry the door trim is try so it is not leaking through the window, anyone had this problem its like it is comming from underneath which is impossible if not driving in the wet or it is comming through the fire wall.
any suggestions

I bet it is the windscreen.;)

Hubby's VL did some weird stuff. Eyelids blinking on the headlights, alarm kept coming on. Took it in to get checked out and they said it was the windscreen leaking and water got into the computer. We didn't even notice the damp carpet until they told us.:doubt:

Hey there, a mate of mine had the same problem with his TF wagon, its was caused by the seals around the windscreen, he took the plastic off around the windows on the inside of the car (rear Windows) in the back and unscrewed the windows and used a silicone sealer around it. . . Problem fixed . . if its the door seals then they may need to be replaced or if its loose just stick them back on? hope this helps.. .. .. .. ..

Thanks for all the advise.
I think it is the windscreen as i have half the car apart at the moment and it is wet all the way up the inside of the fire wall :( going to supercheap auto to get window sealant and see how this goes.
Thanks again.
