Hi all,

I just picked up a 98 with 70000K's on it. the car is really clean, but it needs a little attention in the wheels dept. I have picked out a set of 18's, but I dont really want to lower the car as you shoudl have seen the look on my girls face when I told her abouth the price of the rims...
Will the car look ridiculous? Should I even do it without lowering?

hey mate, welcome!

it would be a good idea to lower your car if u go 18's, other wise it will look like a bus, which is not cool. lowering isnt too expensive and if done properly the ride will no suffer at all

Welcome to the Club, buddy!

I would fit the rims and see what it looks like....then decide if YOU want to lower or "super-lower" it!

My 2 cents!

Have fun here, mate!

Lowering will cost a fraction of the price of the rims - get it lowered - it will look hideous with factory suspension!!

Do the lowering through some one on the forums - springs for about $250 and lowering for a mutually agreeable price should see your car lowered pretty cheaply.

If you are in WA - i can lower it for you.
