tomorrow is the day:

Getting a custom 2 1/2 inch Mandrel bent exhaust system , high-flow cat, high-flow hotdog, and a triple flow exhaust.

All fitted thats gonna cost me 600 bucks - I think that is a fair deal.

I want to experience the feeling of taking a dump WITHOUT having the undies on!

Will post results (sound, performance, etc) on Tuesday!

Tripple flow exhaust? Do you mean tri flow? I'd have thought you'd be after a hi flow.

Includes tips, yes.

And @ Redav: No...its actually called a TRIPLE FLOW MUFFLER (it IS high-flowing) - reccomended by Daalder Exhaust. No idea what it is!

Just messing with ya. Not quite sure how to take the comment about "taking a dump without having undies on", in my experience it's best to keep those fantasy's to yourself.

$600 is a fair price. You didn't however mention wether or not it will be mendrel or press bent piping - not that I can imagine it would make a big difference in a mildly modified magna.

I was a little distracted by the badge on the bonnet for a bit there (lol what is that?)... but what's the news? I had Pacey's and a Redback system installed (cat back) for about $850 all up... the redback is great with a good note... the paceys I never really was decided over... but I did get gains.

I will be interested to hear the feedback... pity you couldn't measure each gain seperately as I really want someone to prove/disprove the hi flow cat issue. (ie. it's apparently a no-gainer unless you are pushing high ponies)

I will probably see the difference on the 1/4 mile time...on March 26th. If I am faster - the HighFlow works! Amen!

If by crackle you mean that bubbling sound? Ive got a 2.5" zorst and what looks like the same sized tip as in the pics above, maybe a bit bigger, but yeah it sounds almost stock, but under load sounds alot sweeter, and yeah get the bubbling sound when the engines warm and I boot it to near redline in nuertral then back off, sounds sweet.

Not so....!

I gained the biggest HP increase from the full front to rear exhaust inc:

Pacemaker extractors
steel cad converter
2.5" exhaust tube front to rear
24" hotdog style center muffler
24" oval high flow S/S rear muffler
$1,440. fitted drive in drive out !

The steel cad converter was $350 and its included in the $1,440

From the pro at the shop he quoted that the:
standard mitsi cadaletic converter restricion is about 55%
Standard cat converters high flow restriction is 35%
The new steel ones you are 15%

Now with all that gas going down a 2.5" inch exhaust and then into the cat converter... it like reducing the exhaust tube to 1.25" (thu a 55% restrictive cad converter) then back up to 2.5" exhaust !!! you do the maths !

looking down the "steel" cat converters its easy to see the less restriction as the steel cat is really straight thru !

The same is for the standard mitsi front pipes comming down from the engine block as he cut open the Y bend where the 6 meets into 1 and the restriction inside the exhaust pipe its self was huge !

I have also fitted K&N pannel filter before the exhaust and fitted a unichip after the exhaust was fitted !

Im well impressed by the exhaust and the note is fantastic wit "NO" drowning at 60 70 80 90 or even 100 or 110ks !

Its quiet when you drive it like a nana but when you get on the go go peddal you really know you have a sports exhaust !!
