At last i got some subs and an amp (from a friend so they are not that new)

Amp: Rockford Fosgate Punch 601S 2 Channel Amp
per channel power:
150 W X 2 @ 4 Ohms RMS
300 W X 2 @ 2 Ohms RMS
600 W X 1 @ 4 Ohms Bridged RMS
1800 W Max

Subs: 2X 15" Rockford Fosgate Punch Z RFZ3415
150 W RMS, 4 Ohms
400 W Max

I heard them bump & I think they work good together.
What do you people think.
I still have to get a 4 channel amp and the rest of the speakers. (don't know if i could afford some splits now:doubt: )

Your Boot lid is gonna buckle with the Bass..

Two 15's are a Tad Excessive but Hey I like Subs in Excess !!!

With Rockford Fosgate, You cant go wrong..

2x15 should make enough noise so that you cant hear the boot lid vibrating:bowrofl:

from the specs you see above, what awg speaker wires do you recommend for the subs (amp==>sub)??
I know rockford recommends 8 awg for the power to the amp, but can't find anything on the subs!!

14, 16 or 18 gauge will be fine.

Power coming in is DC, speaker level outputs are AC, so don't require thick guage cables.

Deaden your boot.

Stinger Roadkill, Dynamat etc will do the trick. Aim to spend around 150 on deadener for a reasonable job on the boot.
