Got a price from an uncles mate for:

KYB shocks front and rear
lovells or kings (no price difference) lowered springs front and rear

$566

is this an alright price? i think the same off RPW's site was around $690?

Also, he said that the springs were 35mm lowered, but he could change them to whatever i wanted? this was third hand by the time it reached me so could he have ment (or said) that he could get different springs eg. superlows, or customise these ones? i presume that in this case getting springs which were made for a certain size would be better than changing the 35mm?

i wasnt sure, of what he ment or which is better, so here i am.

I paid $110 for brand new king lows (front) for my TF.
I doubt that the rears would cost the difference to your total....I say expensive!

Check with Suspension City (Provost St) in Melbourne (saw that ure from VIC)...and get a quote from them, mate!

']damn!!!! that is cheap!!!!!!

I got a tip from Bain...then I forgot about the springs for a while and then checked the Kings website for dealers in Victoria.

I called them all up...prices for front Springs varied from the mentioned 110 bucks (he quoted 113 on the phone) to 178 bucks plus tax. (Front King Lows).

I told the guy behind the counter that I would reccomend him for that price...I herewith did.
Nice bloke...great prices.

Just remembered that someone else (sorry but I CBF to look it up right now) also specifically mentioned Suspension City...they were really cheap for installation too, apparently.

Call them up....

I had mine done in Suspension City last year. They gave the lowest quote i got and was friendly too. Plus they are only 5 minus walk from my place. I did all round King Lows plus Monroe GT shocks. Everything was rounded up to $800 though the initial quote was $820. No complaint there! :D

Not a bad price at all bout wot i paid for my setup (it was supply only and i fitted it myself):

Full Set Monroe GT Gas Shocks - $380
Full Set King Superlows - $190 (so $570 all up)

However the $190 for the springs was a year ago and apparently they have gone up since - i recently found out that a full set of lovell superlows (which i have now) will set you back about $240
