you could have your lead foot removed,

i had that done and it made a HUGE Difference,

like extra 200 kms per tank.

would a cold air intake improve it? i heard it does!

probably not as you would no doubt subconciously drive harder with a pod on, but in theory it should.

I agree with Lachlan56, might make a difference but most people would just push the car harder.. knowing its under the hood.

would a zorst help?

would a zorst help?

Probably the exact same effect as the POD, maybe more so.

Car = Louder

Driver = More agressive on the go pedal cause it souds awesome

If you retained your driving style, in theory a POD / K&N Panel and Zorst should help, but honestly its probably very minior. I think your best fuel consumption minimizing option would be (apart from foot removal) possibly an aftermarket ECU, AFAIK you can tune your car for better ecconomy, probably loose some performance in doing so?

I saw fuel consumption drop from approx avg of 12.5 - 12.8L/100km to about 10.5 - 10.8L/100km when I modded my TJII auto (mods listed in profile if you're interested). I feel the biggest difference was fitment of a replacement exhaust from headers to tip, and having it all tuned for 98ron with an emanage made a pretty big difference too.

Having said that - it's a hell of alot $$$ to save 2L of fuel / week.

and I haven't noticed as significant a difference in with the same mods on my manual because I'm still having too much fun with it.

I mainly do city driving and was happy to see my fuel usage drop from 12.5L/100km to 11.5L/100km from only fitting a Lukey LR2779. And I drive it a bit harder now cause it sounds s***hot.

If youre worried about saving fuel, your best bet is to sell your car and buy a 3 or 4 cylinder car.

You bought a v6 mate.. Fuel economy and V6, I6, V8 dont go together..

The other option as other have said is drive is like a grandpa..

i think a push bike would be more economical, 500g of pasta a few bucks would keep you going all day. :bowrofl:

In reality the only mod that's gonna save you bucks at the fuel pump will be a gas convertion. Anything alse (pod, zorst) and you end up driving more aggressively. meh:D
