Just wondering if anyone can help me with my current issue. The steering in my TH Exec feels very sloppy. I get feedback from every bump and camber in the road, and the car likes to follow any ruts in the road. I have had it checked for damage by the local dealer, and pedders who states that it's all OK. It gets worse the faster the car travels over 70.
I did have a spin a couple of weeks ago - went 180 to the right, and then back to the left, ending up in some small shrubs. The tyres have been changed (due to flat spots). Currently they are 215/60/R16. The rear shocks were replaced to sports ryders, as pedders found the rear where out by a lot. It has had 2 wheels alignments, when the tyres where changed, and when the rear shocks were replaced.
Not sure what could be causing the issue. The back of the car feels very strong, and does not want to move - it's just the front. Going down any incline makes it feel even worse.
Could this be due to the shocks in the front being different? (I didn't have the cash to change the fronts). I'm hoping to change them in the next couple of weeks and add a strut brace.
