I was just talking to my local car audio shop and they said that JVC is bringing out a whole you range of head units by the end of the month. I don't know any more about it but he said that they are going to be even better price wise for the same features.

Also pionner has released a new head unit the DEH-P4850MP (http://www.pioneer.com.au/car_entertainment/cdtuners/dehp4850mp/index.html) today, he doesn't know about prices but should be around the $300 mark.

Anyways thought I would let you guys know. lol

(though im very happy with it, knowing my luck this will have 5V preouts or something)

Sweet... Hopefully they will lower the price of the KD-AVX1... It's the only aftermarket HU I've ever really liked the look of.
