I checked my power steering fluid today and it was of a yellow orange color so I assume it means that the fluid is very old or burnt from the wrong type so I brought a small nottle of fluid for mitsubishi cars and started thinking that if I could pull that plastic filter out it would be much more better took awhile to get it out. You have to position it a certian way then pull it out well it took the whole small bottle I hade about 3 times but the fluid is still of the same color is it going to take alot more till the fluid is a noce red color or is there something wrong.
Cheers
Alex.

The standard Mitsu power steer fluid is a yellow/orang colour.
Still would be a good idea to change it though
