if that was the case sum of the lower half would be affected as well, but u can clearly see the colour change stops at the seam all the way around. probably broken by previous owner and they replaced it from the wreckers or if u have owned it from new they probably ran out at the factory and had to use what they had left, if so thats a bit dodgy. by the pic it looks like it might have been the original black one but might have got repaired and repainted just not with the matching colour

thanks all for taking the time, yeah I got it new but never noticed but I did stack it badly last year but there was nothing wrong with the inside.

the pics of a brand new top part that was supposed to be black, they only came in black. looked black when I got it but as soon as its in :rant:
