i'm thinking about geting extractors for my 2.6 TR... is it worth it?
how much have you guys payed for them?, i got quoted 450 inc. install at a midas place in frankston. is that good?? do i need a new exaust system when i do it or can i wait for a while and do it later?
also, can you get clear rear tail lights for a tr? i think that it would look good on a white tr...
tnks all

Extractors are worth it :D
2.6 will respond nicely to them, you can get the new exhaust later if you want :)

fat chance of finding clear lights for a tr. best bet would be to go to a plastic mould manufacturer and see if you can get a custom set. would cost you though.

dude, we have a plastic class at our school, we made a clear set of tail light for his TR, came out shmick, but i wish i hadta done them for mine, i finished school too early, but they ended up costing about 30$ for bulbs to make........easy job aswell, just use the old tail lights to make a mould, tail off the coloured bits, and then put on clear
 :p

as everybody else said, Extractors are a great mod to do to a TR/TS, i got a quote from a guy online at that online performance site (cant remember the url, pm me if ya want me to find it) for a set of new pacemaker extractors for aprox 300 plus shipping, Fitting them shouldnt be a problem cause they should just bolt up, just have to be careful that you dont snap off any of the studs!!
As for the clear lights, nobody makes them for older magnas, unless you can get a custom set made but someone on here at one stage said that would cost aprox 800 bux, probably not worth it, if ya do find any cheaper than that let me know though!! ;)

you could do it yourself fairly easily, otherwise shouldnt be to much, any mechanic could bolt em on

I just tightened my exhaust manifold bolts on the weekend. Guys be carefull. The two lower middle bolts are fairly difficult to get to and the are under very LITTLE torque.
About 19Nm which is bugger all.
