hey fellas, was doing some photochopping the other day and wondered how my front lights would look slightly tinted, i thought it looked pretty good.

so i went outside and tinted them, let them dry and voila, i honestly love the look, looks freeken MEAN AS now, only problem is, well, i want parras:P but seeing this now, im like...this looks just as good, but saving myself $330.

Rssid is going to some trouble to get these and i said i would get them, i dont like going back on my word but its a large sum of money to ooooo and arrrrr about.
i couldnt do a proper chop of some parras on my car, they all came out looking wrong.

so just some opinions, should i leave the car as is? or fork out the $$ for some parras?

(BTW, i only sprayed the headlight covers, not the actuall lens:P)

nah:P i aint painting anything myself by hand, comes out so ametur:P just forked out a few hundred to get a body part sprayed today so im leaving the grill lol, paras or this ya reckon?
cause GoTRICE's car is very sleek indeed, but these covers do tickle my fancy...

well if there just covers i say go paras then put them on top, even hotter!

If this is only on the cover then get the paras and put them behind it, it WILL look better, if you dont like em just sell them to someone on here

also.. its only a matter of time until you get done by the cops..
i use my covers rarely.. and take em off if i go somewhere i know there are going to be cops around..

yeah i am sceptical this might make me a target for cops.....parras would be the better alternative

looks just a tad defectable.. just fork out the money and get the para's man.

The front with the tinted headlight covers looks very mean. :badgrin:

But like others have said - very defectable. Will attract the Police then they'll find other things. However, I don't think I've been through a Road Worthy yet without being pulled in - in a stock or modified car :doubt:
(yet to happen in the Magna tho lol )

IMO I'd get PARA's and then keep these for when you want the car to look cool or for photos.

tint plus eyelids look sweet mate. Good if they're just on the covers that way you can take them off whenever.

i was thinking of doing somthing similar to my car. i love paras...but $300+ is a bit pricey...so i thought of masking 2 circles on the covers, then spraying them. that way u wont lose as much visibility at night...and ul get a similar effect as paras. its just a cheap way out dude!

actually, light goes right through the covers, it still blocks a bit, but the majority of light passes through, trick is, you dont want to make then SUPER DARK, just, a light black...

well 2nd day i had em on i pulled up to the lights where there was an accident, and the cops were directing traffic, copper just looked at the car and smiled!
still lets light through though.....but yeah i want parras:D

Hah, i'm sure he had more important things to worry about than your lights. But seriously, you'd want to get it checked out, better than a defect/fine/impounded car. Even if you take the light out and borrow someoen elses car, take it to the cop shop and show them?
