Is a CAI available for a gen1 or would it have to be made up as a custom part?

are you carby or efi???

for a carby just whack on a scoop. efi would mean some manufacturing. some flexi tubing and some wire... extend the MAF wiring, on with a pod, relocate to the front bumper.

Bob's your uncle (he must be yours cuz he's not mine :p )

I cant find my digi cam on how i did mine, but i did it with one of those flexi hoses from super cheap, a nut, bolt and a washer, and a corner PVC pip thingy.

I drew a pic of how my CAI setup. The battery terminals can be annoying though.

Thanks for your help but this is irrelevant now. The car is dying. Next time gadget

my battery must be wider than most as there is no room between the battery mount or the battery to run any pipe down, digi photos would be good

Looking at the pictures from that post, what if you go through a puddle of water, or water on the road? Wouldn't it get sucked up into the engine

theres not enough sucktion for it to physically get UP the tube, past the filter, and into the engine.

I got the same thing, works a treat:)
