View Full Version : RPW O/S Throttle bodies
Hey ppl,
I have just done a search on oversize throttle bodies from RPW as i am seriously thinking about getting one in my mobile next week.
I have seen some worrying posts about the quality of said company and such.
The posts i was looking at were a couple of years old. does anyone still have any dramas with them?
I noticd that W.A customers are apparently looked after ok , which made me feel better as i am in Perth.
Opinions?
I am going to put an O/S TB in a 93 KR verada.
Does anyone who has done this think it was worth it?
do u mean oversized or high flowed ??
ive got a high flow with an over sized intake plenum, didnt do that much but i also got an aftermarket ecu in there.
they do increase throttle response and stuff, but its been covered heaps im sure

I've a feeling RPW do an actual over-sized t/b for the 2nd gen V6.

Yeah what they do is get a second hand one and bore it out and just swap that for the one you already have. need to get the intake manifold machined but.
Even a little bit of an improvement would be good as it lacks power off the line. needs a bit more torque , which the O/S TB would give - along with a fuel pressure regulator which is the next step.
The old man says why bother it cruises ok but how often do you get to cruise around the city??? taking off from traffic lights better would be the go i reckon:badgrin:

Is there much of a difference? in performance and price? between hi flo and oversize.
